What is the difference between a full aquastop and a partial aquastop?

Q) What is the difference between a full aquastop and a partial aquastop?

A) A full aquastop has the electronic valve on the inlet hose (the grey block) which detects leaks in the hose and monitors water levels in addition to the float switch which detects leaks in the base of the appliance. This is mechanically detected and electronically controlled.

A partial aquastop has only the float switch which detects internal leaks which shuts off the water inlet to the appliance. This is mechanically detected and mechanically controlled.
