Water left in the base

Q. Why is there water left in the bottom of the dishwasher when it has finished?



A. This is normal the water left behind is clean water from the last rinse cycle. It is there to help prevent smells from the drain hose and to prime the drain pump for the next wash/drain cycle. The water also helps tp keep the seals on the main wash motor wet and prevent them from drying out and cracking.
