Smeg DO81CSS clock display

Q. We have just installed our new Smeg DO81CSS double oven and it it wonderful. We chose it partly because of its AA rating and we are considering whether to turn it off at the mains when not in use to save energy. However, I suspect that the stand-by power used of the LED clock is very low. Can you please give me a figure for this stand-by power so we can decide.



A.The clock display is only using a few milliamps to display the time. Disconnecting at the switch / socket after each use would mean that the clock has to be set each time the appliance is to be used.
