My Induction hob is clicking / ticking or buzzing noise when in use?

Q) My Induction hob is clicking / ticking when in use? Is this normal?


A) You will experience some ticking / clicking from an induction hob during use, this is from the induction coil functioning and it is perfectly normal. If the ticking / clicking is quite loud then this could be due to the type and construction of the pans you are using. If you experience a loud clicking / ticking from the hob when in use, please try another style / type / material / brand of pan to see if the clicking / ticking improves.
