My fridge freezer is full of ice / over icing.

Q) My fridge / freezer is full of ice / over icing, what could be the problem?


A) There are many factors which can cause this problem, some can be cured by yourself but others will need an engineer to rectify them.



 



 



Main door has been left open for long periods of time.



Main Door seal has failed or is not sealing fully.



Main Door does not fit correctly.



Main Door held open by produce on shelving.



High water content foods placed in the fridge but left unwrapped.



Uncovered liquids placed in the fridge.



Freezer compartment door open, damaged or missing.



Incorrect thermostat setting for use.



Faulty thermostat.



Overloading, too much food in the fridge.  


Unsuitable enviroment, too hot, too cold, appliance standing by a heat source.



System overgassed.



System blockage.
