Dishwasher storage advice

Q. I leave my home for months at a time and when I come back, the d/w smells musty, what can I do?



A. For appliances left 3mth or more at a time, mix a solution 20% glycerine and 80% water, pour solution into the d/w until level is above the filters. Leave the mix until the unit is ready to be used. This will keep the components lubricated and the interior smelling fresh. when u return simply run the unit through a regular wash to rinse the mix.
