Gas Energy Saver Usage
Q) Can I use a Gas Energy Saver on my Smeg appliance?
A) NO. Smeg do not advise the use of a gas energy saver as the device has not been tested for use on Smeg appliances. The gas energy saver can convert 600-700º heat to 1000 - 1200ºC instantly which may cause damage to the alloy componants and starve other burners of oxygen. Any ill effects due to the use of a gas energy saver WILL NOT be covered under the Smeg guarantee.
