My hood is dripping water while using my induction hob?
This can happen when a hood is over an induction hob. The induction hob does not have any “waste” heat that rises during use so the hood stays cold and when the steam from cooking hits the cold metal / glass of the hood it condensates back to water and drips down.
The customer can fit a non-return valve at the end of the duct which will stop a lot of the colder external air from reaching the hood but other than that, it’s a by product of the efficiency of an induction hob.
