Supplementary earth bondinng of sinks

Q) Does my sink need to be bonded?


A) No requirement, the kitchen is not a special location that requires supplementary bonding. The IEE 'On site guide' clearly states this (see 4.6) and this is guidence based on Wiring Regulations BS7671.



But installed in a batthrom or shower room the answer is 'YES' to  supplementary earth bonding of metal baths or shower basins.
