A) It is fine to use a pressure cooker on a gas hob. You will just need to use a pan that is a suitable size for the burner and sit the pan fully in the middle of the burner. As with all pressure cookers, once it signals that the pressure is full, turn the heat down to low. Place your timer on for the allocated time you require and then take it off the heat.
