Who should service my fire and how often?

Q:  Who should service my fire and how often?

A:  Servicing must be undertaken by a Gas Safe registered installer on an annual basis. Expect to pay between £60 and £100 for a gas fire service.

Gas Safe registered installers (formally Corgi) are the only class of person considered as competent by the HSE. Please visit www.gassaferegister.co.uk for your local installer. If you appliance is installed by a non-registered Gas Safe installer then the manufacturer's guarantee will immediately be void
