My plates are coming out wet.

Q) My plates are coming out of my dishwaser wet at the end of a cycle, what am I doing wrong?


A) The dishwasher dries by a process called Thermic Drying, this uses the hot water and residual heat from the last rinse cycle. You should not open the door until about 1 to 1.5 hours after the cycle has finished. This allows for the retained heat generated from the rinse cycle to dry the dishes etc.


Incorrect loading can also retain water so can deep rimmed plates/pans/cups which will not dry.


Check the level and the setting of the rinse aid, details can be found in your instruction manual.
