Some of the plates are not working on my Smeg electric/ceramic/halogen hob - Electric Hob Installation

Q) Some of the plates are not working on my newly installed Smeg ceramic / halogen hob

A) If your hob has just been installed and some of the plates do not appear to be working this may be down to the installation. The installer should have fitted and configured the junction block for use in the UK by installing the horseshoe connectors. You will need to call your fitter back and have the installation checked. All the configuration info will be on the underside of the hob. Select the diagram for the power supply you have and configure the junction block as shown.

if you were to have an engineer out under warranty this would be classed as a chargeable call due to the fault being with the installation and not with the appliance.
